Nusa Penida has limited infrastructure, with roads that are still damaged, narrow, and steep, which can make travel quite challenging. Additionally, most of the famous beaches and tourist spots on Nusa Penida are located top of the cliffs , requiring you to either descend stairs or view their beauty from above. The only easily accessible beach is Crystal Bay Beach.
Regarding the weather, Nusa Penida experiences very hot conditions, so we recommend you bringing a hat, an umbrella, and sunscreen and enough mineral water. For those who are prone to seasickness, we advise taking anti-seasickness medication and always wearing a life jacket during the fast boat journey.
